The Herd earned an 8-5 victory over the Big Ballers on Sunday, using a strong second-half effort to secure the win. #34 Imbeault led the charge for The Herd with a hat trick and an assist, while goalie #46 Warecki made three key saves in the second half. The Big Ballers were paced by #8 Brochu, who recorded two goals and an assist, and goalie #6 Ward provided a spark off the bench with four impressive saves after entering the game in the second half.

Gate City Gates and the Big Ballers put on a defensive showcase Sunday night, battling to a 4-4 tie after a scoreless overtime period. Gate City Gates were led by #13 Adu, who netted two goals, while goalie #19 stood tall in the net with an impressive 10-save performance. For the Big Ballers, #7 Walsh paced the offense with two goals of his own, and goalie #52 Ebert came up big in the second half, making seven clutch saves to help secure the draw.

Drunk on Defense defeated NEC 12-5 in a game that was much closer than the final score suggests. After a tightly contested first half, Drunk on Defense found another gear behind stellar performances from #29, #18, and #19, who each recorded four goals. Goalie #24 also came up with five big saves in the opening half to help keep the momentum on their side. NEC continued to battle throughout the game, with #26 and #30 each scoring twice. Despite the loss, goalie #33 was the standout performer of the night, turning away an incredible 12 shots while playing every minute between the pipes.

The Stars came to play with homing missiles for the Jets' defense in the final game of the day. With hat tricks and some from Bonaparte, Forsberg, and Stevenson, the Stars offense was shining in the brutal heat of the day. The Jets engines sputtered throughout, struggling to win position at the dot and to create offense when they did possess. The Championship is set for next week with Stars taking on Shake n' Bake. Can they supernova to a win? Or will Shake n' Bake dance their way into the Champ shirts?

Despite losing in weeks 3 and 4, the Tigers pounced on the Vipers today and took home a win. Maier of the Tigers let out the claws with five goals on the day and a pair of goals each, as well, from Hall and Kane. The Vipers' Schuster was putting the ball away on their end with four on the day, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the Tiger's frenetic offense. The woman go into week six nearly splitting games down the middle. Who will come out on top in the Championship and take home the much coveted Championship shirts?
