Riding high on their recent victory, team Malibu was given a reality check by the Beverly Hillbillies when J. Shabinsky (#47) of the Hillbillies scored the first goal. Hillbilly goaltender J. Boudreaux (#47) was also leading an impressive defense which only ever let one goal past them the entire game. S. Gualy (#49) of team Malibu was the only player to score for his team. The final score was 4-1 in West Expresses favor.

Despite beginning the match with hopes of walking away with a win, West Express face-off B. Lunn (#36) scored both of the first goals of the game. The second one of which was right off the face-off, quickly dashing hopes for an easy victory. In the second half Chiefs coach and player Howard Alperin (#1) took the field and quickly delivered an assist on a goal. Team West Express always seemed one step ahead however and showed off their lead when goaltender B. Host (#50) crossed the field and scored. Chiefs player M. McGowan quickly responded with a goal of his own but the lead was too great by the time the game ended.

Good defense and goaltending was the highlight of this game. Keeper, Mark Porter for the Lacrosse-titudes put up 13 saves after full time. Crease Crankers split tending responsibilities with Stu McLintic (7 saves) and Phil Cannell (4 saves). Kobe Brown (substitute) put up a hat trick, but fell short as the Lacrosse-titutes had some late goals that was the final difference.

Cactus Touchers started the season handedly defending their title. A deep bench had the Cactus Touchers staying fresh, with seven different goal scorers. Regardless of the score, goaltending was a bright spot for the Crease Crankers with Stew McClintic (9 saves) and Phil Cannell (5) in their respective halves.

Sharkbait's offense was firing on all cylinders this weekend. Jordan Hayes, Danielo Parkinson, Daniel Rivie, and Thomas Stock contributed 2 goals each. Corey Gamblin made 12 saves on 17 shots, helping secure the win.

Both Goalies played an outstanding game forntheir teams. Tropics' Goalie Edward Calvet made 23 saves on 28 shots, but unfortunately didn't get the offensive support he was looking for. Southies Goalie Thomas Glynn made 15 saves on 19 shots and came out on top for his team.

NYPD Goalie Frank Prevete had 14 saves on 21 shots. NYPD's Tyler Harper emerged as the offensive star, recording 3 goals and an assist.
