St. Arnold's 7 vs H-Town 8 July 14, 2019
Overtime Nail Biter from H-Town 8 vs St. Arnold's 7
Outstanding head to head game by both teams. Taylor Brooks (H-Town) and Dakota Badder (St. Arnold's) lead their teams in points against each other in an overtime win by H-Town. The entire game was lighting fast and a big thanks to the great calls by the game officials that were right on top of the fast paced game. Great show for all the fans who came out to watch tonight!
PBR 13 vs Metro 8 July 14, 2019
Night 3 Houston Box League - PBR 13 vs Metro 8
Metro takes on PBR in the first game of the night scoring 8 goals but still coming up short against PBR who racked up 13 goals against Metro's goaltender, Matthew Carr, who seemed to block shot after shot while only allowing those few goals to pass. Most of the players have some experience playing with each other now and the ball movement for both teams was quick enough to miss a power play if you blinked.
PBR 10 vs H-Town 11 July 7, 2019
4th Game of the Season With an Exciting Overtime Buzzer Beater
H-Town and PBR pushed hard back and fourth in the 2nd game of the night. For 45 minutes they ran each other and came to an ending tie at 10-10. Ben Janes the high scorer of the season put 5 shots in the net for H-Town while Evan Albertson put 5 points (3G,2A) up for PBR to get each team into overtime. Sudden death overtime almost went into the 2nd OT when H-Town was able to net the final goal with less than 30seconds remaining on the clock. Everyone was on the edge of their seats for the entire game. Thanks to all the players for an exciting end to the 2nd night of the season!
St. Arnold's 12 vs Metro 3 July 7, 2019
Huge Comeback in Week 2 for St. Arnolds
The pace of the 1st game began in favor of Metro with a quick 3-0 final in the first period. But St. Arnolds came back in the second and third period with fight in the game that never stopped while they racked up 12 straight goals against Metro to finish the game 9 goals ahead of Metro at the game buzzer. Bryan Wynne with St. Arnolds put up an impressive 5 goals to help the team to victory. Great start to the 2nd night of the season!
St. Arnold's 6 vs PBR 11 June 30, 2019
Game 2 of Opening Night - PBR 11 vs St. Arnolds 6
Second game of the night kept the momentum moving with a big game against two of Houston's favorite brewing companies, PBR and St. Arnolds. PBR left with the second win of the season over St. Arnold 11-6. Alberto Quinones 3G/1A, made an impressive 4 points for St. Arnolds but was not enough to keep ahead of PBR who has the smallest roster of the league. These PBR guys are ironmen ready for battle and will be a tough team to beat this season. A great 2nd game to end the opening night. We hope you are as excited as we are for this season!
